The Next Gen System Christmas equation

I plan to let her buy me 1 and buy her 1. (  Always have to treat them right. love ya!) I had enjoyed a wonderful relationship with the games of both previous systems ( Saturn and Playstation). Both provided me with a wide selection of games. The key word here is games. I didn't buy a 64, because of the games. I was a diehard Nintendo fan enjoying the best years of the Snes and was pumped up to get a 64. Yet as titles came out and I approached the counter with $149, i got a psx. Was it the amazing graphics, the controller, the cd formats? No, In fact these were huge deterants. I got it to eventually, which was something about a year before ite was released, play Final Fantasy 7. After playing that hit I was going to sell my system. Then Tekken 2, and Street Fighter Alpha 2. In less than 2 years I own way to many games. We can all see how that turned out.

So after falling back in love with Capcom ( it is possible! ) I decided to pick up a saturn on the black market. It was too cheap to not even think about it. I bought the Ram Cart selections that never made it to our side of the pond. I arrived in my import store and went through some of the old skool Saturn games. I picked up the Panzers, Guardian Heroes, and several Vf type games. My library increased as I realized that I missed so much, just because of a small Saturn biased( a large one actually ). When you decide which system to get don't look at the companies track record. Just think about what games you as a gamer enjoy. From that you can make your decision. Bored out.
