PSX2 announced and boy does it look sweet

By: Geoff Trainor

Well, now that the Playstation 2 has been announced, people are drooling over the specs and the screenshots that were released with it. I'm not going to bad mouth the DC or anything but since I have played neither and am going by specs, and screenshots. But from what I seen and read. The PSX2 is going to completely blow the Dc away.

I know, I'm not going to say for sure or anything, I will will still probably end up buying a Dc, but PSX2 looks to be first on my list. I guess we can't really tell if a system is good before we play(we learned that from the N64) it so I will judge then. But, even still Sony has a better track record than Sega. I just hope Sega has learned from past mistakes.

But if you missed the specs for some strange reason, or you just came out from your rock here are the spec:

Along with its announcement of the next generation PlayStation, Sony released a sheet of the system's features and specifications:

Well, there you go. Drool all you want. It is simply amazing.

I bet The people at Sega, and Nintendo are really kicking themselves now. But to tell the truth DC is going to be a very good system in my opinion but man how many times can I say this. LOOK AT THOSE SPECS!!

I guess this isn't much of a editorial but, I had to write this. Those specs are just too sweet to stick in the news section. They have to be where everyone can see.

Well, tell me your thoughts on this new Project from Sony. Maybe if it well written or just makes us laugh, we'll stick it up on the site with your name alongside it.

On a last note, if and when the PSX dies ( I hope not for a long time ) us here at Super Neo PSX + might just have to change to SNP2+. I dunno maybe we'll just stick with the PSX. What do you think?
